Sidewalk Scrabble

Using chalk, one-child prints out a starting word (the longer the better) in a central spot on the driveway or sidewalk.
The second player then writes a new word that uses one of the letters from the starter word. For example if SIDEWALK is your first word, the next player can use the K and spell KITE with it, writing it vertically on the sidewalk.
Each player takes turns using their own colour of chalk and building on each other’s words, until everyone has gone five turns.
Players earn a point for each letter in their words, and the player with the highest total wins.

This game can also be played on a piece of paper using different coloured crayons or markers.
