Sundowners Families,

An announcement was made by the provincial government on January 12, 2021 indicating the province will be entering a state of emergency effective immediately. This also includes extended closures of schools to in-person learning until at least February 10, 2021. This means that all before and after school programs will be closed until in-person learning resumes. Sundowners will continue the operation of our Toddler/Preschool programs located within Holy Cross, Dougall, King Edward, Talbot Trail and General Brock with reduced hours of operation and we will continue to follow all protocols for screening and enhanced cleaning. Any new directives provided by the Ministry of Education or the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit will be incorporated into our existing policies. Preschool families will be contacted regarding fees for February tuition as these were NOT collected on January 10th, 2021.

Unfortunately, ministry directives prohibit Sundowners from operating full day child care programs for any children in kindergarten through grade eight as the intention is for these children to attend classes virtually.
