June 23 Updates

Sundowners appreciates that the ongoing pandemic has been difficult for everyone. We are diligently working with our community partners to open our centres in a safe and responsible manner. Our hope is to have our administration office open in the upcoming days to be able to better assist each of you.

Very specific requirements were provided by the Province of Ontario in order for child care centres to re-open. These guidelines include screening and improved cleaning requirements, as well as reduced group sizes. All of these updated requirements will be included in our new Pandemic Policy. Reduced group sizes will assist in providing a safe environment for your child, as well as our staff, however it will reduce the number of children and families Sundowners can serve.

As a result of the recent provincial announcement regarding school attendance in September, we continue to work with the Province, Ministry of Education, local health officials and the school boards to determine our course of action. As more information becomes available, our website will be updated to reflect this.

Our accounting department has reviewed all accounts for possible credits due to strike days, as well as Covid-19 closures. These credits can be applied to upcoming registrations including summer or fall care, or a refund can be processed at your request.
