Provincial Remote Learning Announcement

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Please be advised that according to the announcement made on January 3, 2022, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, all schools will move to remote learning starting January 5 until at least January 17, 2022.

Preschool Programs at Holy Cross, King Edward, General Brock, Dougall and Talbot Trail will remain open. Preschool program at St. John Vianney will be closed until the school is reopened. Should care be required for your preschool age child please reach out to your site supervisor to see if space is available at an alternate location.

Before and after school programs will be cancelled until in person learning is resumed.

Accounting will work towards reconciling accounts to reflect any credits incurred during the closure. Those credits will be applied to your account. Please note that PAD payments scheduled to run on January 10, 2022 (February Tuition) will be run for Preschool programs at Holy Cross, King Edward, General Brock, Dougall and Talbot Trail ONLY. Before and After School Programs as well as St. John Vianney preschool will not have their PAD payment run on January 10. Credits from January will be applied to your account and a Sundowners representative will be in contact with you upon return if there is a tuition balance owing.

Information will follow on how to apply for Emergency Child Care should care be required for school-aged children of health care and other eligible front-line workers.
