Sundowners is seeking a qualified SUPERVISOR to join our management team. We are a non-profit multi-centre early learning and child care service provider operating in Windsor/Essex County.  The Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the day to day operation of child care centre(s), providing leadership in keeping with the early learning and care philosophy of the organization.  The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the program(s), working effectively with staff in a unionized environment and with families and children building healthy relationships and community. The Supervisor is a person who is a member in good standing of the College of Early Childhood Educators and has at least two years proven experience working in a licensed child care environment. The Supervisor is committed to attending and promoting on-going professional development through workshops, training and building communities of practice.  The Supervisor has an excellent command of the English language (both oral and written); highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to co-operate, follow instructions and make decisions.

Sundowners is looking for on-call Supply Staff to work in our multi-centre organization.  We offer a variety of programs in our 18 school-based child care centres.  Within our multi-centre organization you will work in a variety of programs and with a variety of age groups.  We offer child care for children starting at 18 months to 12 years old throughout Windsor-Essex County.  (Qualifications, RECE (or relevant post-secondary education),  First Aid/CPR; Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Person Check; Medical (fit and able to work) and have own transportation. 

COOK – Promoting Safe & Healthy Nutrition

At Sundowners we believe that children should be introduced to fresh wholesome and healthy foods. As the COOK you will promote the development of healthy food habits and provide nutritious meals and snacks at all times. All of our centre Cooks must be trained and certified in the SAFE FOOD HANDLING COURSE through the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit. All food that is provided will offer varying food choices that meet the Canada Food Guide requirements and standards. (Qualifications,  must have grade 12 diploma, First Aid/CPR; Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Person Check; Medical (fit and able to work) and have own transportation.
