NOT a BOX…

PROJECT PLANET!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!  Do your part to save the planet. Bring in your beautiful “junk”.  This was the scene this week at Dougall when children were very busy learning about how to protect the our Earth through the three “R’s” of recycling…Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  The Windsor Solid Waste Authority visited Dougall and spoke to the children about the importance of recycling and what we can all do to help preserve our planet.  From there the children used their imaginations and creativity to prove a box is not just a box! 

SEE WHAT THE CHILDREN DID…

A box is a bird house, a musical instrument, a costume, and a village.  The children all worked together, made plans and spent hours making and finishing their projects.  They had a great fun-filled day that was enjoyed by all.
