    Tuition Updates:  January 13, 2021 Preschool Programs:  Due to the uncertainties of the pandemic, Sundowners Day Care did not process the January 10, 2021 tuition withdrawal for February tuition.  The accounting department will send out letters to advise of payments required.  Regular preauthorized debit payments will resume on February 10, 2021 (for March tuition fees.)     Sundowners Families, An announcement was made by the provincial government on January 12, 2021 indicating the province will be entering a state of emergency effective immediately. This also includes extended closures of schools to in-person learning until at least February 10, 2021.     Update:  January 7, 2021 Area media outlets are reporting that Dr. Wajid Ahmed, Medical officer of health with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is recommending students continue with remote learning until at least the end of the lockdown, January 23, 2021. He has made this recommendation to the province.  If the province does not mandate this, he will issue an order to mandate remote learning.     Sundowners Families, An announcement was made by the provincial government on December 21, 2020 indicating the extended closure of schools to in-person learning until January 11, 2021. This means that all before and after school programs will be closed until in-person learning resumes.     Today the Ontario government announced the safe reopening of schools for in-class instruction beginning this September.  The plan will prioritize the health and safety of students and staff.
