    Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care Agreement (CWELCC) The federal and provincial governments signed the agreement in March 2022 with the goal to make child care more affordable for families.     Easter Weekend Sundowners will be closed Friday, April 15th and Monday,  April 18th.  Regular operations will resume Tuesday, April 19, 2022. We wish you all a wonderful long weekend with family and friends.

  • Pandemic Plan Updates

    Pandemic Plan Updates Based on the announcement by the Chief Medical Officer of Health and in consultation with both school boards, Sundowners will be updating our Pandemic Plan in the coming weeks to align with provincial guidance. Effective March 14th: • Staff and visitors will no longer be subject to the mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Disclosure Policy.     Provincial Updates On March 9, 2022 the Chief Medical Officer of Health announced changes to provincial pandemic restrictions, including masking requirements and immunization disclosure policies within child care.  Sundowners is working closely with community partners, including both school boards and the local health unit.     Easter Monday 2022 Dear Sundowners Families, Sundowners has made the decision to close all programs and locations for Easter Monday, April 18, 2022. This closure will provide an opportunity for our employees to have a well-deserved long weekend. Programs will return, as usual, on Tuesday, April 19th.
